Relaxing week.....
I have been having a much more relaxed time of it this week. A shopping trip to York with the little man and my Mum on Monday. A cracking night at Itch to stitch on Monday night...(a few piccies below)
Then a day of crafting on Tuesday, tucked up in front of a log fire...Bliss!
I kept the little man happily entertained with his treasure basket of toys...
oh and a thorntons white cholate lollipop!!
I also had the chance to do the finishing touches to a couple of blankets I started months ago. They are destined for the little man's bedroom.
And today we had a ride up Troutsdale near Dalby Forest and a hearty pub lunch. This is the life!!

So glad you have had a lovely week, I have been back to work after the half term and it is so busy!! Your roaring fire looks so great! I love your blankets x

Hey hun..
ReplyDeleteWhich store do you work in? I will have to pay a visit and do some christmas shopping.
I am quite chuffed with my blankets now...I fell out of love with them a while ago, as I didn't like the wool I was working with, but now I think the colours work and they will look really funky on Michael's bed!
Have you any more fairs booked on the run up to Christmas? Let me know and I will come and support. Want to get some more things from you anyway...really really regret not buying that larger plaque you made with the christmas tree on. Let me know if you recreate a similar one, as I would love to buy it for my mantle piece at Christmas!!

What time is the itch to stitch meeting on Mondays? Can anyone come along?
ReplyDeleteHello and a big welcome to our blog Viv.... We are open to anyone who would like to join us. It is held every Monday evening 7pm til 9pm in Coneysthorpe Village Hall on the Castle Howard Estate. All we ask for is £2 to put into the pot towards rental of the hall and tea /coffee / chocolate biscuits. It would be lovely to see you there. N xx
